Internacional Cooperation

International cooperation agreements are legal documents executed by and between Higher Education and/or research institutions for the purpose of achieving mutual academic and scientific objectives, such as expansion and/or improvement of the academic training provided to students, development of research projects, promotion and dissemination of scientific works, and the preparation of doctoral theses combined with the issuing of double diploma.

The importance of international cooperation agreements to UFSCar lies on the fact that the execution of such documents allows mapping academic and scientific collaboration networks in which the institution concretely participates, and identifying strategic countries, institutions, areas of knowledge and research topics to the university. It also allows strengthening UFSCar’s presence in the global scenario of Higher Education and scientific research, as well as improving its performance in international rankings.
